Although business owners are well aware of the power of Instagram, they rarely use it properly.

I am not  an exception either. Working in marketing, I mainly give all my working time to customers and do not pay attention how  my personal page appers to look like. On the one hand, as  it is  personal  one – I post it as I fancy. And on the other hand, this is a source of  the flow of new clients, which I should have used.

My profile on Instagram is called anna.radko.marketing, but Natalia advises to remove the word marketing from the nickname, because it does not help a strong personal brand. Instead, this word should be placed in biography, as if it is there, the search algorithm of the network will offer my profile for a relevant search query.

"A person makes a decision whether to stay on the account page or move on very quickly. If the nickname is confusing or too long and a person cannot read it in 3 seconds, they will simply leave your page," says Nata.

Highlights or fixed highlights are above the photos and do not disappear after 24 hours. This is a great tool to show the catalog, fixed prices, share customer reviews and talk about delivery conditions. In fact, highlighting is something like a site menu. It is worth placing key information here, it will save time for both the client and the page owner.

In order for the highlights to perform their function as best as possible Nata advises to leave the most necessary information in them. They should also have thoughtful storytelling and not just selective stories. A story that will make a person watch from the first to the last highlight. The expert emphasizes: "After completing the end, do not forget to add the link - to reels, to direct mail, to the website or to the pre-recording questionnaire."

"The bilingualism of the blog confuses the algorithms. Instagram doesn't understand which audience to recommend your posts to. If your blog is in English, you will also see blogs in English in the recommendations. So that your profile falls into the category recommended for your audience - keep it only in the language of your audience. If you need bilingualism, separate the pages"

Also, people pay attention not only to professional qualities, but also to the personality behind the brand. It is important for potential clients to know if you share common values and if you can be trusted.

Therefore, Nata reccomends not to be afraid to reveal yourself in many ways. Show yourself at work, but don't forget to broadcast your personal values. It really helps to attract the customer.
